I am so excited to tell you about a way to transform your smile which is much quicker and much less invasive than traditional methods. By using a patented and innovative new procedure called Provance compositive veneers, we’re able to help our patient in just a couple hours undergo a complete smile transformation, and they’re even able to avoid the dental drill.
The secret is the Provance System which uses additive composite in heated injection molds to add composite or filling materials on top of your natural teeth to create teeth with the ideal shape, ideal shade, and often even able to fix bite issues that have caused wear and chipping on teeth in the first place. The result is a beautiful and long-lasting solution for cosmetic dentistry.
The surprising thing… cosmetic dentistry done this way is roughly 1/2 the price of traditional veneers while still getting the benefits of beauty, long-lasting, and no pain involved.
Naturally there are pros and cons to every option, but we’re proud to offer this service to our patients, and we’ve been able to use it to change many of our patients smiles. Please check out a Before and After picture of an actual patient of ours that has undergone a smile transformation with us using the Provance system.
To know if you're a candidate for Provence direct composite veneers, we need to start with a healthy substructure of the tooth. If you have healthy teeth but maybe you don't love the shade, the shape of the tooth, or maybe you have spacing between your teeth that you're just not happy with. Once I talk with my patients about the possibilities and we do a mock-up to see what is possible, they tell me, “I never knew that that was something that could be done with my teeth no one's ever told me before that I could have these spaces closed or that I could have more of an ideal shape to my tooth”.
For me I am so excited to be able to do that for them because they just light up once they see their new smile.

Watch and listen above as Dr. Kile explains the different sedation options available to patients at Darby Dental Smiles.
I have had patients tell me that coming to the dentist isn't their favorite thing to do…I get it! For patients who may have a little bit of anxiety or may not really want to be 100% present at their appointment, we do offer sedation. We have different forms of sedation to fit each situation depending on what our patient’s needs are.
We offer nitrous oxide, which commonly is known as laughing gas. We do this on a lot of patients, even children, just to help them relax during their appointment. We also offer oral conscious sedation, which is a prescription that we prescribe. It is a pill that you take once you are at your appointment, and it helps relax you during your appointment as well. Lastly, we offer IV sedation. This sedation option will put you in more of a Twilight so that you really aren't aware of your procedure at all. It can really make your dental experience very pleasant.
I care about you and hope that with these sedation options you will feel better about coming back to have all of your treatment completed. WeCare!
Jason worked with the Champaign County Historical Society to research the history of the structure discovering it started out as a private residence, but after that it had many incarnations. It served as the Prince Hall Grand Lodge for black free masons around 1923, served as a nursing home, was used by Ohio Eastern Star, was used as a temporary county court house after the Champaign County court house burned down, served again as a nursing home, and served as an architect’s office who also rented out space to other businesses. Then in 2017, the Kiles purchased the property.
The Kiles wanted to maintain as much of the original structure as possible while also configuring the space to accommodate a dental practice that afforded privacy and comfort to their patents. Therefore, Jason traveled to Texas several times to attend training to learn how to design a dental office within an existing historical structure. They were able to maintain the original trim, doors, transom windows, fireplace, and tile-work in the bathrooms. They used many local businesses to perform the restoration work. They also did extensive landscaping to spruce up the curb appeal. To be ADA complaint, they installed a wheelchair lift instead of a wheelchair ramp.
We are honored to receive the CCPA Home & Garden Tour Preservationist of the Year award last night! It was a great pleasure` restoring one of our community's oldest buildings and turning it into our new dental home. #UrbanaDentalSmiles
